Mid century, Japanese woven ceremonial tray, following the traditional technique of Rantai Shikki. It is a traditional handcraft product made by weaving thinly cut bamboo into pieces and coating them with many layers of red and black lacquer in gloss finish, that will provide a lot of protection against wear and tear. This piece is ideal for decorative display in your living room or a serving tray. Good condition with minor signs of age. Handcrafted in Japan.
