Onta-yaki is made by observing the tradition of being handed down from generation to generation in the small pottery village of Onta, in Oita prefecture, Kyushu. Based on traditional techniques, which characterized by geometric patterns, the light and easy-to-use plates are a true embodiment of the Japanese folk art.
