Handmade from Elm tree, using ancient Japanese technique of preserving wood with fire, Yakisugi. It gives rich deep color of the charred wood color itself. Finished with food-safe tung oil. Use to serve tea or desert, or as a showcase for other objects just as beautiful as it is. This noble and minimal tray is great gift item. Handmade by artist Sung-Won Kang in Korea and artist name engraved at bottom.
