Hand built by artist Miwa Neishi, the tail figure is inspired by Japanese calligraphy. Her sculptural flower vases are made to invite people to connect with the elemental forms of life—earth and nature—in their homes. Made out of a variety of wild clays, each pot is able to hold water for flowers or single stem plant.
Miwa Neishi is a Tokyo born and New York based artist. Her sculptural works draw inspiration from abstract expressionism, prehistoric clay figures, and calligraphy. Miwa hopes her art pieces to be familiar and functional as a daily object.
